This unique brooch depicts a medieval knight on horseback (probably intended to be St. George) slaying a dragon. St. George and the dragon was a popular legend and motif in medieval art and literature.
The brooch is made of shiny bright gold finished metal, and both the knight’s horse and the dragon have red rhinestone eyes.
In excellent vintage condition, with a rollover clasp (the pin part has been straightened and has one tiny area where the finish is missing off the pin, but not the brooch itself).
Brooch measures approximately 2” wide x 1.75” tall
